I'm a writer, editor, teacher, and preacher with degrees from Williams College (BA) and the University of Michigan (MFA), where I was a Helen Zell Fellow. I've been a writing instructor at the University of Michigan and Montana State University. My prose has appeared in Image, The Common, The Missouri Review, and other outlets.
In summer 2026, One Subject Press will publish my sermon collection How to Be Created.
In fall 2026, Melville House will release my novel Good Guys.
Currently I'm completing my MDiv at Yale Divinity School, where I'm earning a certificate at the historic Andover Newton Seminary and co-editing the literary journal LETTERS. I plan to be ordained in the United Church of Christ.
I live in New Haven with my family.
